CONEXPO-CON/AGG is
North America’s largest construction trade show representing the construction
and concrete industries. Even though
we’ll have a full team at the show with nearly a dozen PSR representatives, it
will be difficult to hit all of the 2,800 exhibitor areas so let us know how we
can meet up with you.
We always welcome
the opportunity to engage and meet with the industry. An in-person meeting provides that chance to
place a face with a name, discuss industry trends as well as explore any
challenges that we might be able to help you tackle!
If there’s a time
that works best for us to visit with you at the show, please let us know. Just call or drop us an email.
Email us at info@powersys.com or call us at 651.905.8400, and we’ll plan to get together. PSR

SUMMARY: The general mood at Boot 2020 this year was very positive. Most builders said they had a very successful nautical 2018/2019 year, and most said they are looking forward to a good year in 2020. The show drew 240,000 visitors who had an opportunity to meet 1,900 exhibitors from 71 countries.
The Sailing boats segment is coming back on track, motorboats of all sizes are doing well, the super yachts segment remains strong, and inflatable boats and tenders have gained in popularity. The optimistic view for 2020 is based on good year-end results, continuous investments in new technologies, materials, equipment, design and exciting new boat concepts.

Modern designs, completely new looks, use of light and solid material, work on multi-functionality and openness of the boats is visible everywhere and in all segments. Boats are open more than ever, providing more space and light, and bringing riders closer to the water.
The environmental awareness is growing, and a new generation of boaters is looking for cleaner solutions, not just comfort. That’s why the sailing segment is gaining ground, electric boats are appealing to the general curiosity, and small and medium motorboats are more attractive than in last 10 years when the trend was towards bigger motor yachts and super yachts.
17 Halls of Boats, Boats and More Boats
Duesseldorf, Germany–The Power Systems Research (PSR) team spent several days exploring the 17 halls at this year’s Boot 2020 Show, reviewing products and talking with pleasure boat builders, traders and other industry professionals about the latest achievements, innovations and trends.
The 51st edition of Boot 2020, Europe’s largest boat show, wrapped up January 26, after drawing attendance of 240,000 for the nine-day event. People came mainly from Europe, but they came from all over the world, as well.
HANNOVER, Germany– The impressive Gold Award for Innovation at the Agritechnica 2019 Show was awarded to John Deere for its electro-mechanical power split gearbox.
Stepless transmissions with a hydrostatic-mechanical power split have been used in agricultural tractors for over 20 years. Previously, additional generators for electric drives with a higher power requirement were installed on tractors (fan, compressed-air/air conditioner compressor, etc.) or on implements.
HANNOVER, Germany–For many years, Agritechnica has been growing and strengthening its role as the top European agricultural trade show. Despite the struggles that the industry is facing, with declining order books and a less than enthusiastic outlook for 2020, Agritechnica 2019 held here Nov. 11-16, 2019, reaffirmed its position as the most important ag tech event in Europe. The show reported 2,820 exhibitors and 450,000 visitors, more than 130,000 of them from outside Germany.
This year, the show drew more than 26,500 people from around the world. The indoor exhibit floor and the Outdoor Demonstration Area covered 24,000 net sq. ft. more than last year.
Agritechnica 2019 begins Nov. 10, 2019, in Hannover, Germany, and analysts from Power Systems Research will be walking the halls gathering data and photographs on the latest products and trends. We’ll have their report here for you.
Agritechnica is one of the world’s largest exhibitions for agricultural machinery and equipment. This event showcases products such as tractors, transport, and harvesting technology, and equipment. Don’t miss our reports. PSR
The Tokyo Motor Show was a major event that attracted 2 million people from the 1980s to the 1990s, but in recent years the number of visitors has decreased and the last exhibition in 2017 drew only 770,000 attendees.
Power Systems Research had a booth presence at the 2019 North American Commercial Vehicle (NACV) show that took place at the World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA, Oct. 28-31, 2019.
The NACV featured a “Technology Showcase” where many of the leading OEMs and supply chain companies put their latest market introductions on display. There were over 500 exhibitors at the show – assembled in both Exhibition Hall A and Exhibition Hall B of the World Congress Center.
MOSCOW–The fourth annual Heat and Power Show was conducted here Oct. 22-24, and a significant part of the fair was dedicated to small generation and co-generation applications.
Although at the moment this fair is rather small, it has a good potential to become a large international show because it is only fair in Russia with such a specialization. There were about 100 participants from 12 countries.
Scania displayed CNG trucks and biogas production systems at its booth as a clear bet on this technology growing against Diesel in Brazil. At FENATRAN, the 22nd International Road Cargo Transport Trade Show, it sold its first regular production R 410 fueled by CNG to RN Logistics. The truck will operate at the São Paulo – Rio de Janeiro route.
