e-Mobility

The Recreational Products segment is playing a significant role in the growth of the electric mobility market. Growth is being driven by policies that encourage lower greenhouse gas emissions and consumer interest in less expensive and more energy-efficient transportation. In addition, businesses built around the Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) model, which allow consumers to conveniently rent e-bikes and e-scooters using an app, are also playing an important role in the growth of the e-mobility segment.

In the powersports category, which includes ATVs, snowmobiles, PWC, motorcycles and snowmobiles, IC engine-powered models continue to dominate. High performance is a key selling point in the category, and the transition to electrification has so far been limited by the lower power output, limited range, reliability, and long charging times of battery-powered models.
