  • Jacto Announces Hybrid Self-Propelled Planter

    Jacto has entered the planter segment with three products, Uniport 500, Lumina 400 and Meridia 200. Uniport is the first hybrid self-propelled planter in Brazil. It has a Diesel ICE working as an electric power generator and independent electric drives in the four wheels of the equipment. This design promises less fuel consumption, because of a better traction system and uniform planting speed, and consequent better uptime since it reduces stops for refueling.

  • Sales of Agriculture Machines in Russian Increase 50%

    The Russian market for AG machines has increased by 1.5 times during the first six months of this year, reaching 93.9 billion rubles (US$ 1.27 billion). Production volume has increased by 45% to 112.7 billion rubles (US$ 1.54 billion).

    The largest growth has been in the output of plows, climbing to 1,800 units and AG tractors – by 43% to 2,800 units. Production of sprayers has increased by 37.3% to 953 units. There has been a modest gain in production of grain combines, increasing 10.2% to 3,800 units, and self-propelled mowers, gaining 2.6% to 228 units.

  • Jacto Announces New Plant in Brazil

    Jacto has announced a new 96,000 m2 plant that it will build by 2023 in Pompeia-SP – Brazil, the same location where most of its operations are already located. Fernando Gonçalves Neto, Jacto President, says the new and modern facility will sustain forecasted growth for several years.

  • Innovation Was the Name of the Game at Agritechnica 2019

    HANNOVER, Germany–For many years, Agritechnica has been growing and strengthening its role as the top European agricultural trade show. Despite the struggles that the industry is facing, with declining order books and a less than enthusiastic outlook for 2020, Agritechnica 2019 held here Nov. 11-16, 2019, reaffirmed its position as the most important ag tech event in Europe.  The show reported 2,820 exhibitors and 450,000 visitors, more than 130,000 of them from outside Germany.
