For the second time, the PSR-STA experimental vehicle won the Drivers' World Championship Americas!
Power Systems has sponsored the high school Experimental Vehicle team at St. Thomas Academy in suburban St. Paul, Minnesota, USA, for several years.
The team won the International Championship in London last year, competing against some of the best high school and university engineering teams in the world.
The team posted a run of 102 kilometers per kilowatt hour or the gas equivalent to around 3,250 MPG!!!

Katie Hendricksen, a senior at First Baptist High School, Eagan, Minnesota, is the recipient of the 2019 Power Systems Research $2,500 academic scholarship.
Hendricksen will use the scholarship to study computer science at Bethel University, St. Paul, MN.
"My favorite subject is computer science," says Hendricksen. "It's fun and I can share what I have learned through community outreach."
She participates in the school's robotics program, and she says she loves to ice skate and play the ukulele in her free time.
