Doosan Bobcat Aims at NA Market with Fully Electric T7X

Doosan Bobcat unveiled the world’s first fully electric construction equipment to the global market through CES 2022, the world’s largest technology exhibition.
Doosan Bobcat held a media day event at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas to introduce the T7X, which won two CES 2022 Innovation Awards.
The T7X is the world’s first fully electric construction equipment that eliminates all hydraulic components. It is comparable in performance to existing internal combustion engine equipment and emits no harmful substances. Noise has been greatly reduced to one-tenth the level, and energy efficiency has been maximized.

Low Interest Funding Set for Low Emission Off-Highway Machines

Kohler Engines Introduces Small Diesel

Kohler Engines has introduced a new series of small diesel engines: the KSD. At launch three models will be available:
- KSD 1403NA (Naturally aspirated)
- KSD 1403TC (Turbocharged)
- KSD 1403TCA (Turbocharged with aftercooler)
Later on, more variants will be released, completing further the series. Developed as a new electronic engine, this platform is capable of meeting all current emissions legislations, globally. All engines sit in the critical below 19 kW power node, and with 1.4L is a compact solution that can fit different applications.
One key aspect of the engine is the specific blend between indirect injection and electronic control. According to Kohler, this enables maximum engine performance, response and very low-end torque.

JCB To Expand Production Capacity in Brazil
JCB plans to invest R$ 120 million (US$ 20 million) in its factory located in Sorocaba, State of São Paulo, with the objective of increasing annual production capacity from 4,000 to 10,000 units by 2026. JCB expects to grow 50% in sales volume this year, compared to last year’s results, and more than double the sales.

Weichai Delivers 150-Ton Mining Trucks

Jack Hao The 150-ton large-scale mining truck delivered by Weichai has accumulated more than 50,000 hours of trial operation, with a total mileage of more than 360,000 kilometers, a 70% increase in efficiency, and a 10% reduction in unit energy consumption.
This product is equipped with a powertrain system consisting of Weichai Group’s 17-liter engine + 3300 Nm high torque 8-speed gearbox + 60-ton drive axle. Subsidy Program for Scrapping Diesel Vehicles Ineffective

About half of those who received South Korean government aid to scrap their old diesel vehicles early have purchased diesel vehicles again, according to a new study. CNH Acquires Sampierana SPA

Emiliano Marzoli CNH Industrial has purchased Sampierana S.p.A. an Italian construction equipment and components manufacturer. The deal totals €101.8 million and will allow CNH to control 100% of Sampierana within the next four years.

Automechanika Fair Shows CV Parts

Maxim Sakov MOSCOW–MIMS, also called Automechanika, is a trade show dedicated to automotive parts and components, automotive electronics and service/repair.
The fair was conducted this year at the Moscow Expocenter July 23 to 26.
Automechanika is a small local event. However, this year there were about 400 participants from 18 countries. The biggest delegations were from Russia and Turkey. There were companies from UK, India, Spain, Italy, Iran, UAE and other countries.
