トヨタとダイムラーが株式公開を目指す持ち株会社を2024年末までに設立し、日野自と三菱ふそうが傘下に入ることで4社が基本合意。トヨタとダイムラーの持ち株会社への出資比率は同じ割合とし、統合後に日野自はトヨタの連結子会社から外れる。
