Joe Zirnhelt
President and Chief Executive Officer

Joe Zirnhelt is President and Chief Executive Officer of Power Systems Research and a member of the company’s Board of Directors. His responsibilities include management and oversight of the company's operations as well as leading the implementation of strategic initiatives. Joe joined the company as a Senior Consultant in 2005. After several years working in various management roles within product and project oversight, he served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer & Strategist from 2015 until assuming responsibilities as President and Chief Executive Officer in 2019. Over his 24-year professional career he has served as an Officer in the U.S. Navy including training in the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program followed by experience with Alstom Power, a leading French power plant developer, before joining Power Systems Research in 2005. Joe holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He has been a regular contributor to Diesel Progress magazine and other industry publications often featuring the North American power generation market. He also is actively involved in the Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA) where he has contributed content for its Powerline magazine and recently completed his term as Chair of the Market Trends Committee.
Barb Dick
Vice President & Controller

Barbara Dick is Vice President and Controller at Power Systems Research. She is responsible for managing accounting, payroll and Human Resources. Barbara has been supporting Power Systems Research global operations since 1988. Prior to joining Power Systems Research, Barbara worked as a veterinary technician and managed an EAP Services office in Florida.
Jim Downey
Vice President - Global Data Products

As Vice President - Global Data Products at Power Systems Research, Jim Downey is responsible for database management, as well as customer and project support, and heads up our analysis of North American Off-Highway OEM operations. Another responsibility is the management of the proprietary OE Link™ database covering worldwide vehicle and equipment production and forecast information. He received his Business Administration degree from the University of St. Thomas. Prior to starting with us, Jim was a Loan Officer at Wells Fargo Bank. He has been with Power Systems Research since 1999.
Lynn Olthof
Vice President of Business Development

Lynn has over 30 years of sales and sales management experience. Currently at Power Systems Research, Lynn has direct responsibility for Business Development across 13 key industries including Construction, Agriculture, Commercial Vehicles, Recreational Products, Lawn and Garden and Marine. Overseeing the Global Account Management team, focused on driving revenue and growth by providing production, forecast and population data for IC engines, electric and hybrid powertrains to OEMs and suppliers across the world. Prior to joining PSR, Lynn was the Director of Sales at Wards Automotive, a division of Informa and an Account Executive at IHS Markit (S&P Global). Additionally, Lynn spent over 20 years in various Sales and Management positions with the Hertz Corporation. Lynn graduated from Northern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. In her free time Lynn enjoys golfing, snow skiing, paddle boarding and spending time with family and friends.

Christopher Bamforth
European Market Analyst

Christopher Bamforth is a European Market Research Analyst based in Brussels, Belgium. In this role he will be responsible for supporting European market research, and market data analysis for original equipment and engine applications for Power Systems Research's OE Link™ and EnginLink™ databases. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, with Honors, in Business Studies, from the University of Kent, with specialties in marketing, economics and international business. Prior to coming to Power Systems Research, he interned as a market researcher at Dedicated Resources S.A. Belgium. Christopher joined the Power Systems Research team in March of 2014.
Eric Best
Senior Power Source Research Analyst

Eric Best is an engine research analyst for Power Systems Research (PSR) based in our Eagan, MN office. Eric maintains and updates comprehensive engine specifications and manufacturer model lineups for PSR’s EnginLink™ database, consistent with established standards, and corroborated by published product information from the respective engine manufacturers. He also provides customer support related to questions on engine manufacturers, specifications, along with model production and forecast volumes. Prior to joining PSR in 2018, Eric worked in management for Green Mill Restaurant. He received his Bachelor of Arts in both Economics and Mathematics from Gustavus Adolphus College.
Carlos Briganti
Managing Director South America

Carlos Briganti is the Managing Director of South America for Power Systems Research. Prior to joining Power Systems Research in 2012, Carlos has held several senior positions in the automotive and auto parts industry internationally. He was President and General Manager of Eaton Corp – Truck Transmissions, Latin America, and General Manager of Eaton Transmissions, Europe and Japan. Carlos has also been an active Board member of the ABM - Metallurgy Brazilian Association, member of Consulting Board of SAE -Society of Automotive Engineers, Brazil; as well he spent several years as a member of General Motors South America Supplier Council and Sindipecas – Brazilian Autoparts Association. Carlos holds a Bachelor’s degree in Material Engineering from the Universidade Federal of Sao Carlos and a Master’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Escola Politecnica, Universidade Sao Paulo.

Joseph is a seasoned business development representative with a diverse sales background. His extensive experience lies in software sales across various industries, including business software and sport management systems. Joseph holds a degree from the University of Minnesota in business marketing and communications.
Joe Delmont
Marketing Director

Joe Delmont is responsible for the worldwide marketing communications program at Power Systems Research. (PSR). He is an award-winning journalist and sales and marketing professional. Joe is the former Business Editor and News Editor at St. Paul (MN) Pioneer Press daily newspaper. He also has worked as a senior account executive, copywriter, and public relations professional with advertising and marketing agencies where he specialized in service industries, crisis communications and media training. For many years, Joe was a contributing editor for Dealernews magazine, and he co-founded Powersports Business magazine, the leading B2B publication serving the North American powersports industry. Joe's resume includes sales and marketing services in powersports research. His international reporting assignments have taken him from Canada to Mexico, Finland to Italy and China and Taiwan, as he wrote about powersports equipment, manufacturing and business. Joe joined the Power Systems Research team in 2012.
Qin Fen
Business Development Mgr.

Qin Fen is a Research Manager at Power Systems Research based in our China office. He is responsible for business development throughout China. Qin has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in Business Administration from Shanxi Agricultural University, Oberlin Memorial School in China. He has been with Power Systems Research since 2008.
Fabio Ferraresi
Dir. Business Development South America

Fabio Ferraresi holds a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of São Paulo, and he received his MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. He also holds CMQ-OE and CQE certifications from American Society for Quality. He has experience in automotive business in South America and Asia. He has worked for Eaton Corporation for 12 years in Brazil and China in positions such as supplier development manager, supply chain manager, factory manager and quality manager. Fabio also serves as business development director of Grupo Engenho, a consulting company with activities in business management and Operational excellence. Fabio joined the Power Systems Research team in 2014.
Chris Fisher
Senior Commercial Vehicle Analyst

Chris Fisher is responsible for developing and managing all information products related to the global commercial vehicle industry. He received his Business Administration degree from the University of Nebraska. Prior to coming to work at Power Systems Research, Chris worked at Baldwin Filters as a Market Analyst, OEM Account Representative, and as the Manager of Engineering Services. Chris has been with Power Systems Research since 2006 and has written and published many articles and is a key contributor to Transport Topics, Bloomberg, Diesel Progress and various other publications.
LeAnn Fisher
Director of Components Research

LeAnn Fisher is Director of Components Research at Power Systems Research and is responsible for leading and managing components research as well as managing specialist projects including transmissions and emissions products. LeAnn has a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Business and has over sixteen year’s industry market research experience at Baldwin Filters. She has been with Power Systems Research since July 2005.
Jack Hao
Research Manager

Jack Hao is an Industry Analyst at Power Systems Research and is the newest member of the growing Power Systems Research staff in China. Jack is responsible for research and data analysis of Chinese original equipment, engines and power trains tracked in PSR’s OE Link™ and CV Link™ database products. Jack received his bachelor’s degree in World Economics and English Language from Shanxi Agricultural University. Jack brought five years of market research, planning, forecasting, and analysis experience to Power Systems Research. He held various positions of responsibility in market research, planning, intelligence, and communications in the Asian and North American markets, working in both electronics and biotechnology industries. Jack has been with Power Systems Research since 2010.
Joy Dunseth Jacques
Application Developer

Joy Dunseth Jacques provides customer support for the PowerLink™ application and database. She also manages cloud systems and technical projects. Joy received a degree from the University of Minnesota in Audio/Visual and Communications and has certifications as a Microsoft Certified System Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Administrator, and as a Microsoft Certified Trainer. Joy has been with Power Systems Research since 2010.
Akihiro Komuro
Senior Research Analyst - Far East and Southeast Asia

Akihiro Komuro is based in Tokyo, Japan. He is responsible for collecting pertinent market data, executing special projects, analyzing forecast trends, attending trade shows across the Far East and Southeast Asia regions, and updating all OE Link™ data for Japan, South Korea, and the nations of Southeast Asia. After studying at Shukutoku University, Mr. Komuro gained extensive experience in the precision instrument and machinery markets and was actively engaged in international trading of marine engine parts. Mr. Komuro is a regular contributor to PSR’s monthly PowerTALK newsletter and provides forecast trend commentary covering the Far East and Southeast Asia regions for PSR’s Quarterly Update Bulletin. Mr. Komuro has worked with Power Systems Research since 2015.
Aditya Kondejkar
Senior Research Analyst – India

Aditya Kondejkar is Senior Research Analyst – India for PSR Power Systems Research India Private Limited, PSR's office in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Aditya holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Prior to joining PSR, Aditya worked as a QA-Warranty engineer at the Piaggio Vehicles engine plant, during which time he gained a great understanding of the engine powered vehicle and equipment industries. He further expanded his experience to include the B2B and B2C market research industry. His expertise in forecasting, analyzing qualitative insights and converting them into quantitative figures is essential in his work at PSR. Aditya is responsible for managing all of the OE Link™ data for India and other countries in the Indian Subcontinent region. He also supports the global team in custom project research and analysis and helps address client queries related to our data. Aditya's articles have been published in MOTORINDIA, and he is a regular contributor to PSR's PowerTALK newsletter and Quarterly Update Bulletin where he shares insights regarding forecast trends in the India market.
John Krzesicki
Business Development Manager

John Krzesicki brings over 25 years of experience in software sales, implementation consulting, and marketing to Power Systems Research. He has a broad software background spanning from Product Lifecycle Management, Simulation Modeling, 3D Printing, to Business Intelligence. The corporate cultures he’s worked within are equally as diverse from small start‐up companies like BL 3Dimension, to large companies like SAS, and to companies like VSA and RuleStream —where he helped grow the company from a small start‐up to a medium sized company that was eventually acquired by Siemens. Mr. Krzesicki has a Master’s and Bachelor of Science Degrees in Industrial Management from Central Michigan University.
Rushikesh Kumavat
Research Analyst – Components

Rushikesh Kumavat is Research Analyst – Components for PSR Power Systems Research India Private Limited, PSR's office in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Rushikesh received a bachelor's degree in Automobile Engineering and completed his post-graduate MBA in marketing. Rushikesh worked as a research associate for Global Market Insights and has work experience in ICT and Automobile domain. Rushikesh is responsible for researching and analyzing key global component data for inclusion in PSR’s EnginLink™ and OE Link™ databases, as well as supporting forecast trend analysis. Director – Asia Region

Erik Martin oversees PSR’s research and business development teams in China, India and Japan and has worked in these and other Asian countries. Erik holds a B.A. in Chinese Language from the University of Minnesota and attended Nankai University in Tianjin, China. Erik has been Director – Asia Region at PSR since 2014.
Emiliano Marzoli
Manager of European Operations

Emiliano Marzoli is the Manager of European Operations at Power Systems Research and is based in the Brussels office. He is responsible for developing new business in Europe and managing key projects related to the European region in addition to his management role of the European team. Emiliano received his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Communications from State University of Milan in Italy and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Open University in Milton Keynes in the UK. His previous experience includes sales and marketing in retail distribution. He is a regular contributor to industry publications which can also be found on the Power Systems Research website. Emiliano has been with Power Systems Research since 2011.
Natasa Mulahalilovic
Finance and Admin. Mgr. – Europe

Natasa Mulahalilovic joined Power Systems Research team in May 2012 and holds the position of Office Manager. She is based in our Brussels office. Natasa graduated as an Economist and has vast experience in Marketing, Finance and Business Consultancy. She has previously worked for the USAID Business Development Program – Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Volksbank and the American University and co-owned and managed a family business in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She supports the Power Systems Research business in several activities including business operations, market research and projects.
Chaitrali Naik
Research Analyst – Light Automotive & Motorcycles

Chaitrali Naik is Research Analyst – Light Automotive and Motorcycles for PSR Power Systems Research India Private Limited, PSR's office in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Chaitrali has a bachelor's degree and four years of work experience in sales, marketing, research, and writing. Previously, she worked for the largest entertainment company in Japan as a supervisor of Training Department. She also has experience working as a secretary to the department Physics in university. She joined Tohan Research Group in April 2014.
Dalibor Sablic
Director, Business Development

Dalibor Sablic is Director Business Development - Europe at Power Systems Research and is based near Frankfurt am Main in Germany. He is responsible for new business development and sales in Europe and the management of key projects in the European region. Dalibor also supports the marketing activities of Power Systems Research. Dalibor holds a degree in economics in marketing and sales from the State Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. His previous experience includes sales and marketing in the automotive industry in OE and aftersales. There he worked for several OEM customers at renowned TIER1 suppliers. Dalibor has been with Power Systems Research since December 2018.
Carol Turner
Senior Analyst Global Operations

Carol Turner is responsible for all OELinkTM North America segments with a specialization in OEM energy solutions applications. Carol graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Business & Journalism degree and then spent seven years working as an Analyst at OEM Data in Maastricht, Holland. She has been with Power Systems Research since October 2001 and has over 17 years of experience in market research.
Lorena Violante
Senior Market Research Consultant

Lorena is a Senior Market Research Consultant at Power Systems Research, based in Mexico City. In this role, she specializes in conducting in-depth market research and analysis for the power products industries. She joined Power Systems Research in 2011, bringing extensive expertise in market intelligence, strategic planning, and business development. Before joining Power Systems Research, Lorena served as Manager of Strategic Planning and Market Research at Cummins Filtration, where she led global market research initiatives to inform business strategy. Prior to her tenure at Cummins, she gained valuable experience in the tire industry, focusing on marketing, forecasting, pricing, promotions, and corporate image. Yvette Wickner
Call Center Supervisor

As the Call Center Supervisor at Power Systems Research, Yvette Wickner is responsible for overseeing all aspects of every day operations of the call center, which includes hiring and training of interviewers, coordination on all studies with the appropriate project manager, and also doing telephone survey work. She studied broadcast journalism at the University of Wisconsin River Falls and has worked in the market research field for over 20 years, including for the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Minnesota for the Minnesota Heart Survey. Yvette has been with Power Systems Research since 2002.
Shinji Yasueda
Managing Director Japan

Shinji Yasueda is the Director of Tohan Research Group in Japan. He graduated from Kyushu University with a Master's in Mechanical Engineering, and also has his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. Shinji has experience developing diesel and gas engines, as well as consulting on the development of industrial engines. He has been published in ISME in 2011 and ASME in 2012. Shinji joined the Power Systems Research team in 2012.
Guy Youngs
Forecast and Technology Adoption Lead

As Forecast and Technology Adoption Lead at Power Systems Research, Guy Youngs is responsible for PSR’s industry forecast and overseeing the rate of technology adoption of alternative power sources into the future outlook and technology mix. His duties include regular engagement with PSR’s global analyst team to ensure that our data and forecasts recognize industry changes towards alternative power sources. Guy received a BA with honors in Public Administration and Management from the University of Kent at Canterbury. Prior to joining PSR, Guy spent 11 years as a Market Intelligence Specialist for Perkins Engines Company, part of Caterpillar’s operations in the UK.
