TOKYO--The Sea Japan 2018 Show (officially, the International Maritime Exhibition and Conference) held at the Tokyo Big Sight Exhibition Center here April 11-13 drew record numbers of attendees and exhibitors, according to the show organizer, UBM Japan Co. Ltd. An estimated 21,000 attendees and 580 exhibors were expected at the show, officials said prior to the event. Official figures are not available at this time.

One important take-away from the show: models other than internal combustion engines--such as EV, Hybrid, and Fuel Cell--are more obvious than at previous shows, and the interest in them this year's show was very high.

MOSCOW--This year, the Moscow Boat Show looks sad. It uses only one hall in Crocus Expo fair center here, down from two or three halls few years ago.
The show runs March 8-11, and show organizers say more than 20 000 visitors are expected to attend and more than 250 companies from around the world will take part, but those estimates may be high.

During the last three decades or so, the Korean construction equipment inudstry has grown remarkably. Korea is actively producing general-purpose complete units of excavators, forklifts and loaders, but it has relied on imports for Road Equipment such as rollers, compactors and batching plants, Lifting Equipment like mobile and other type of cranes and RTLT, Earth Moving Equipment like dozers, graders and dumpers and Specialized Equipment like snowplows, creating a lot of import demand for finished vehicles.

The of Conex Korea 2017, Korea International Construction Equipment Exhibition, was held at the KOREA Korea International Exhibition and Convention Center (CONEX) in Seoul May 24 - 27. An estimated 250 companies exhibited at the event, according to show management, and approximately 37,000 visitors were expected for the exhibition.
Final numbers were not immediately available.The show covered 21,384 sq. m. under roof, and another 5,635 sq. m. outdoors.
The show was operated by KOCEMA, the Korea Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association.
