CTT 2017 Moscow – Construction fair report
CTT Bauma Moscow 2017 – transformation of the fair as reflection of market transformation.
This year the main event of Russian construction market – Construction Equipment and Technologies (CTT) fair – is conducted under Bauma brand for a second time. 2 years ago, Messe Munich has purchased CTT, and now Russian construction fair is under German operation. The of Conex Korea 2017, Korea International Construction Equipment Exhibition, was held at the KOREA Korea International Exhibition and Convention Center (CONEX) in Seoul May 24 - 27. An estimated 250 companies exhibited at the event, according to show management, and approximately 37,000 visitors were expected for the exhibition.
Final numbers were not immediately available.The show covered 21,384 sq. m. under roof, and another 5,635 sq. m. outdoors.
The show was operated by KOCEMA, the Korea Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association.

MOSCOW--This is second Construction Equipment and Technologies (CTT) fair which has been conducted here under the Bauma brand. More than 500 exhibitors from 27 countries are participating in the show, which covers about 62,000 sq.m. Show officials expect 21 000 visitors from 60 countries to visit the fair.
This 17th annual CTT show is the world's fifth largest fair of construction machinery and equipment, according to show officials.

Growth Expected for Agricultural, Construction in 2017
Agricultural and Construction segments could see a modest recovery in 2017 with Ag growing by about 2% and Construction climbing 3.4%.
AGRICULTURAL production worldwide suffered a severe slump in 2014 and 2015, and the recovery in 2016 was not near the earlier projected levels. We believe the overall market reached its bottom in 2015- 2016, especially for lower HP equipment, which has seen some double-digit growth in sales in 2016 vs 2015.

Russian OEMs Are Optimistic;
Bauma Operator Acquires Show
MOSCOW--Even though the Moscow Construction fair was smaller than last year (524 exhibitors compared to 690 firms in 2015), Russian OEMs are expressing optimism that the Russian construction market has bottomed out, in part because of increased protectionism support from the State.
